Stress Factors

There are many stress factors involved in A.I. Environmental factors such as heat or cold stress, depending on the timing of the breeding season. Handling can negatively impact too as some cows may not be used to human interaction and movement. Gathering in pens and crushes while changes in housing and mixing of groups can disrupt the natural hierarchy resulting in a significant impact on overall stress levels.
